in Hotels Las Vegas

There are many types of hotels in Las Vegas. You can stay in the national chains such as Holiday Inn, Super 8, Ramada, Hilton and many others. These are not your typical casino hotels Las Vegas, but if you are an avid traveler and have accumulated a lot of points you can apply them to get a free room. Now that’s as cheap as hotels in Las Vegas NV get!

On the other hand, I would put the rest of the hotels in Las Vegas Nevada in three possible groups:

• Las Vegas Luxury Hotels; include on and off strip

• Las Vegas Family Hotels; include on and off strip, pet hotels Las Vegas, and Las Vegas hotels downtown

Las Vegas Hotels and Casinos: Megaresorts such as MGM/Mirage hotels Las Vegas or Harrah’s

Megaresorts include some of the best hotels Las Vegas as well as some discount hotels Las Vegas such as Circus Circus, where rooms are low as $22.00 a night.

• Las Vegas Cheapest Hotels; include on and off strip

Las Vegas Luxury Hotels-Megaresorts
MGM hotels Las Vegas is among the top Las Vegas hotels.

Hotels Las Vegas MGM Grand

Hotels Las Vegas MGM Grand

MGM Luxury hotels include:

MGM Grand I’ve not stayed at the green giant but have walked through their very large casino.

Mirage (personally I am putting the Mirage as a luxury hotel because the décor is over the top as well as it’s amenities like the white tiger and dolphin exhibits) Not stayed but have eaten and played a slot machine where I put $4 in and got $200 out. Love the atmosphere and loved that!

Bellagio Hotels Las Vegas Bellagio has many high end shops and a great buffet. And don’t forget the fountain.

Las Vegas Hotels Mandalay Bay If you don’t have a reservation and decide to stay at the Mandalay Bay on a whim expect to pay big bucks. $200+ if you are staying as a guest under someone else’s name be sure to add your name to the room…or no entry to the fabulous beach pool for you. They also have some very comfy couch’s …when my flight was cancelled and since the Mandalay Bay is one of the Las Vegas hotels near the airport, didn’t want to sleep at the airport so opted for a comfy couch instead. Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone.

Suite Hotels Las Vegas such as the Venetian. As with any hotel, sign up to join their players card and accumulate points while playing any slot machine or table game. These points will be good for food during your visit or discounted stays in the future. We have stayed at the Venetian free or a room rate under $100.00.

Top Las Vegas hotels such as The Encore and The Wynn are independently owned by Steve Wynn and he spared no expense when he built these twin towers. I’ve eaten at The Wynn and my partner won a royal playing video poker at their sports bar, but never had the pleasure to experience a stay there.

Las Vegas Family Hotels… and for those seeking budget hotels Las Vegas can find deals with the megaresorts:

paris las vegas

Hotels Las Vegas Paris Hotel and Casino

MGM/Mirage Inc.’s Luxor Hotels Las Vegas has rates under $100 per night and includes other amenities with their packages. Kids also enjoy this hotel with its pool, museum, Bodies and Titanic exhibit on their atrium level. I’ve stayed at the Luxor many times and love the Egyptian décor.

Paris Hotels Las Vegas is part of Harrah’s megaresort and is known for its replica of the Eiffel Tower. Room rates start at $90 a night but can include dining and entertainment. I love Paris and I love Anthony Cools its main entertainment attraction. Anthony is the world’s most notorious hypnotist. I’ve seen his show 5 or 6 times hilarious….but adult in nature. Prepare to laugh a lot…tip: go to the bathroom before the show.

Rio Hotels Las Vegas is another hotel owned by Harrah’s group. Rio is not on the strip, but is located just west across the highway from the Palms Hotel & Casino. I have never stayed at the Rio and rates start at $45.00 a night. Package includes a $50 food and beverage credit.

Las Vegas hotels Treasure Island is now independently owned. Room rates start at just $69 dollars Packages include entertainment. Never stayed at TI, but I have eaten at their buffet. Weekly prices include $16 for lunch and $22 for dinner. Very good.

Orleans Hotels Las Vegas is a part of Boyd Gaming with a riverboat in my neck of the woods, Indiana. Boyd Gaming offers the B connected player’s card. Accumulate points at any of their location for Las Vegas hotels deals. Rates start at $38 a night. Orleans offers fun for the whole family with its movie theatre, bowling alley and Kids Tyme. Kids Tyme is a fun safe environment that is staffed with babysitters! Jungle gyms, arcade games, Wii games, PG movies, arts and crafts and snacks for $6 per hour Sun-Thurs. and $7 per hour Fri-Sat.

Las Vegas Cheap Hotels

Cheap hotels Las Vegas are usually not on the strip but just off in either direction. The family hotels listed above are pretty cheap and guests have given those high Las Vegas hotels ratings. To see reviews Las Vegas hotels go to any online travel site such as Travelocity, Expedia or Orbits. You will not only see the reviews but the Las Vegas hotel maps and which are Las Vegas airport hotels and which are hotels near Las Vegas downtown.

Palace Station Hotel and Casino is just minutes from the strip and they are offering rooms starting at $31.50 a night.

Binions Gambling Hall and Hotel downtown Las Vegas rates start at $45.00 Enjoy the Fremont 60’s Experience. Other downtown hotels in Las Vegas are the California and Fremont with starting room rates at $55.00 a night. The only downtown hotel I stayed was the Lady Luck back in 1998. The best part of that stay was the $.50 Roulette table in the afternoon. Much Fun it was!

Hotels in Las Vegas Nevada can be for the very rich with 2000+ square foot suites in the thousands per night to a regular hotel room for $22.00 a night. When making your Las Vegas hotels reservation remember to ask about the player’s card and if you have accumulated any points for a free or discounted stay, which rooms or suites are available and if they have any packages that include food, beverages, spa treatments, and/or entertainment. And relax and enjoy your stay at your hotels Las Vegas NV…its Vegas baby!
